Fill Me Up – Privacy Policy
Fill Me Up doesn't collect, store or share any personal information. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your location
With your permission, Fill Me Up uses your device's location while the app is open to find fuel stations near you. Your location is used on your device to work out which stations are within the distance you choose.
To show driving distances and times for the stations at the top of the list, the app asks Apple Maps for routes from your location to those stations. Apple handles these requests under Apple's privacy policy. Your location is never sent to the developer or to Fill Me Up's own server.
You can turn location access off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Fill Me Up.
Searching another area
You can type a postcode or town to see prices somewhere else. It's looked up by Apple's geocoding service, under Apple's privacy policy. Searches never go to the developer or to Fill Me Up's own server.
Fuel price data
The app downloads fuel prices from Fill Me Up's server, which is hosted by Cloudflare. These requests contain no personal information about you. As with any internet request, Cloudflare processes your device's IP address to deliver the data, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The developer doesn't keep logs of these requests or use them to identify anyone.
Prices come from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme, as reported by forecourts.
Directions
When you tap a station and choose Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, Fill Me Up opens that app with the station's location as the destination. From then on, that app's own privacy policy applies.
Information kept on your device
Fill Me Up keeps your settings (fuel type, distance, brand, preferred maps app and appearance) and a copy of the latest prices on your device so it can start quickly. This stays on your device, and deleting the app removes it.
Children
Fill Me Up doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy
